New school entrance, Preston

The project involved the provision of upgraded road access to a primary school, significantly improving daily safety and accessibility for students, families, and staff. Key works included widening the main access route, enhancing surface water drainage, and reconfiguring entry points to accommodate increased traffic flow and future development. The improved infrastructure not only enhanced operational safety but also enabled the broader redevelopment of the site, including the integration of a new social housing scheme.

Our role involved overseeing the civil engineering works and managing project costs, ensuring that all interventions were delivered in line with budget, programme, and regulatory requirements. We coordinated the design team, including architects and contractors and liaised closely with the school leadership to manage expectations and align the works with long-term redevelopment plans. This project formed part of a wider strategic vision for the site.
