Mechanical & Electrical Installation into historic property, Coniston

The project involved the full restoration and adaptive reuse of a Victorian Presbytery, transforming it into a high-quality 16-bed holiday rental. This included a comprehensive overhaul of the mechanical and electrical systems to meet contemporary hospitality standards, with the installation of six new fully equipped shower rooms and WCs. The works required reconfiguring internal layouts, upgrading water pressure and drainage infrastructure, and implementing energy-efficient heating, ventilation, and lighting systems, whilst preserving the building’s architectural heritage and period features.

Our role was to lead the design and project management from inception to completion, coordinating consultants, contractors, and heritage specialists. We ensured compliance with building regulations and conservation requirements, managed stakeholder expectations, and delivered a sensitive yet functional conversion that balanced modern comfort with historical integrity.
